I recently saw the 2nd movie to the Divergent series: Insurgent and I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes romance, adventure,action,thriller, and science fiction films. Insurgent takes place in Chicago during the future. Insurgent is basically about the two main characters Tris, and Four who are now on the run from Jeanine and the power- hungry Erudites. Tris and Four search for allies and find answers in the beaten parts of Chicago. They have to find out what it was that Tris’ parents risked their lives for to protect, and why Jennie and the Erudites will stop at absolutely nothing to stop them. Together Tris and Four have to face seemingly insurmountable challenge one after another, as they unravel the secrets of the past and ultimately the future of their world.

The actors and actresses who played in Insurgent are Shailene Woodley(Beatrice Prior, Tris), Theo James(Tobias Eaton, Four),Ansel Elgort(Caleb Prior), Kate Winslet(Jeanine Matthews), Miles Teller(Peter), Naomi Watts(Evelyn), Zoe Kravitz(Christina), Jai Courtney(Eric), Octavia Spencer(Johanna), Maggie Q(TOri), Keiynan Lansdale(Uriah), Ray Stevenson(Marcus Eaton), Rosa Salazar(Lynn). During the movie Shailene Woodley had to do a lot of action parts that included a lot of flying into the air, getting thrown into the sky, falling many 100 feet jumping and sliding off of buildings.

There were great parts throughout the movie. There were many scenes that I liked. One of the scenes that I liked was when Four is playing with the children at the Amity headquarters. A second scene that I liked a lot was when one of the factionless members say, “Why don’t we just hand her over to the Erudite headquarters now”, Four stands up to the him and says “That’s a great idea but you have to go through me first,” and then all of the countless members stand up for Tris. Another scene that I liked a lot was when Tris waits for Four to fall asleep and then sneaks out of the factionless headquarters and turns herself into the Erudite headquarters. Four wakes up the next morning and relizes that Tris is gone and also realizes where she went and goes to save her.
If you’re a person who loves science fiction, thriller, action, and romance then this is the movie for you!
