Semi-formal is coming up this weekend and most of us are buzzing with anticipation. However, I’m sure everyone has that one friend who’s got a bunch of excuses on why they won’t be attending. So, to convince them to go, here’s a list of five reasons why everyone should go to semi:

1. You get to dress up! Sure, your sweatshirt and joggers are your very best friends and the absolute comfiest thing. But let’s be honest, we all have the urge to look nice now and then. And the best part? You’re not expected to go over-the-top fancy with ballgowns and tuxedoes. That’s why it’s called a semi-formal!

2. You get to spend the night partying with your friends! Who doesn’t love spending a little extra time with their friends? Especially when you get to dance to your favorite songs!

3. Maybe you’ll get the chance to dance with that special-someone! Admit it, most of us dream of being swept off our feet in a sparkly dress (or snazzy suit) by our significant other. Who knows, maybe semi will be your night!

4. When you buy your ticket, you can be entered in a give away for Buffalo Wild Wings! Free food for going to a dance? I think yes!

5. Finally, the ticket money is being donated to the ASPCA. Think about it, instead of sitting alone on your couch this Saturday, you can be having a great time while contributing to a great cause! Just think of all the little kittens and puppies you’ll be helping by purchasing a ticket!
