Hello Weedsport, and welcome to today’s Youtuber Hotspot of the week! Today’s Youtuber is doddleoddle, a.k.a Dodie Clark!

Dodie is a singer/songwriter, and is from the U.K. Dodie plays a variety of instruments, but in most of her videos she uses the ukulele. Dodie also knows how to play clarinet, piano, and guitar. Along with her original songs she does duets with other Youtubers, such as Paint(Jon Cozart). She has a very bubbly personality and is an all around happy and positive 21 year old!

Dodie grew up in Essex with her parents and younger sister Hedy. Dodie also passed school with flying colors. In her songs she spreads stories of leaving the past in the past, finding out who you are as a person, and letting you know that life is fun and that you can get through any hard times that face your way.

Some of her original songs include, The Flat’s a Mess, When, Would You Be So Kind, Paint, My Face, Down and She. In The Flat’s a Mess for example, she sings about how she isn’t perfect (Evan Edinger duets with her). She sings about “I might forget to wash my cup, I might forget to put my wet clothes up…The Flat’s a Mess (and so are we),” but it’s all right because no one is perfect.

Many of these songs everyone can relate to in some way. Dodie’s most viewed video currently is An Awkward Duet with Jon Cozart that has over 5,000,000 views. Dodie has 832,642 subscribers and the numbers are rising. Dodie also has a second channel called doddlevloggle where she takes part in challenges and goofs off with her friends.
