Apple wanted to do something exciting with the upcoming release of the iPhone 8 this fall to mark the device’s 10th anniversary. Since there wasn’t a lot of people buying the iPhone 7, they wanted to do something new to surprise their customers. Let’s begin with the name. Apple doesn’t want to be predictable, so instead of it being the iPhone 7s, they would spice it up and be called the iPhone pro or the iPhone X.

We expect the device screen to be extended so it would dominate the entire front side of the phone. Hopefully, they implement the touchscreen sensor onto the screen instead of the touchscreen button.  

We might expect an eye sensor implement onto the phone also. This would be interesting because we would just use our eyes to get to our apps instead of using our fingers. I could see some slight problems to this new concept, but it would be exciting if they could pull it off.

We should be expecting wireless charging, since the company has been working on it for the past year. Like every generation of the iPhone, the device has been much faster, lighter, and thinner than the generation before that. The new processors, improved cameras, and general spec upgrades will help too. The battery is a concern because the new updates are using more power than they used to, but this is easily solvable through the use of portable charger. Last but not least, we should be expecting the ios 11 coming this summer prior to the release of the iPhone.
