Chris Chalker, Staff Writer

Who is under the sheet? That has been the question for all of season three of ABC’S hit drama, How To Get Away With Murder, which just aired its midseason finale this week, titled “Who’s Dead?”

What did we know so far?

Annalise

Annalise returns to her home, or rather what’s left of it, as it’s in flames. She sees who is under the sheet before anyone else does.

Oliver

Oliver meets Annalise outside the house, he seems shaken up. Annalise hands him her phone, telling him to “wipe it clean” before she is taken away in handcuffs.

Bonnie

Bonnie is seen outside the house, she finds Oliver and helps play house during the night, keeping the others in line.

Michaela

Michaela is seen with her mom at her house, she answers Connor’s phone later that night.

Connor

Connor just slept with someone and is revealed to be alive.

Asher
Asher is with Michaela at her house and with Michaela’s mom, who dropped by.

Laurel

Laurel is revealed to be a second body in the fire, although she survives and Meggy finds her in the hospital, revealing she is pregnant.

That leaves three people…

Frank, Wes, and Nate…

Right off the bat, we can eliminate Frank, who is seen after the fire outside of Annalise’s house, he is on the phone with Bonnie.

That leaves Wes and Nate.

We see moments before the fire, Laurel and Nate enter the house, several seconds later, the house explodes, thus starting the fire.

So Nate is dead…

We cut to the coroner, who is performing the autopsy

“gender: male, ethnicity: black…”

At that moment, someone walks inside the room, we find out that it’s none other than… Nate…

The coroner removes the sheet, revealing that Wes is under the sheet, his face badly burned.

Nate later approaches Annalise, he tells her some vital information:

“He was dead before the fire”

So Wes is dead!?

Not only that but Wes was dead before the fire?!
