What kind of phone do you have? Typically, most people would respond to that question with “iPhone” or “Android.” Here at Weedsport 80% of the students own an iPhone, while only 18% own an Android. Both of the smart phones have their pros and cons, but which phone is superior? The iPhone surpasses the Android in almost every category.
“An apple a day, keeps the doctor away!” Apple took this phrase a little too seriously, as it seems they are constantly releasing a newer version of their iPhone. The iPhone is now up to the iPhone 6+.
There are multiple kinds of Androids, while Apple only has the iPhone. Apple only has to worry about improving, fixing, and updating one phone. Android’s theme has to be formatted to all the different types of phones, which can cause problems with some of their products.
Apple is known for having simple, fast and efficient products; the iPhone is a great example of this. Having operated both phones, I found that the Android is a lot more complicated than the iPhone. Android’s “Play Store” seems to have a lot of bugs, and can get very confusing. The “App Store” is simple, and understandable. The iPhone has easy controls, and easy-access to a calculator, flashlight, camera and more. The Android doesn’t have many easy access features.
Android does have it’s advantages over the iPhone. For example, the App Store bans certain apps, especially if they are inappropriate, but the Play Store doesn’t ban as many apps. The Android also provides more advanced options/settings than the iPhone does. You can get into more complicated phone settings with an Android than you can with an iPhone. Is this enough to make the Android considered better? Not at all.
The iPhone has a cleaner design on the outside, and an easier format than the Android. The iPhone’s features are awesome and very helpful, and the Android doesn’t have many similar ones. Although the Android does have its strong points, those points are not strong enough to make it better than the classic iPhone.
