“The Moth:” An Original Poem

“The Moth”

Lovely so lovely
She drowns in your eyes!
Love her just love her
Tell her you love her
Feed her your lies
Just feed her your lies

As I stare at the space
That hangs before me,
I do find this death
Quite a bit gory
Come down little moth
You’re a silhouette
It’s been years,
Yet you’re still here
I can feel your body’s ashes
On my face and in my hair
I love you little moth
You’re a silhouette
