A Look At YouTube's "My Digital Escape"

My Digital Escape was a collaboration channel created by “BryanStars,” also know as Bryan Odell. This channel also features: Johnnie Guilbert, Alex Dorame, Jordan Sweeto, Jeydon Wale, and Shannon Taylor.

The original MDE started in late October 2014, and ended in May of 2016. Less than 4 months after the ending of MDE, Bryan decided to restart the channel. Although there seems to be no problems with that, Odell decided not to include the original members of MDE. The original Members of MDE have no say in Odell’s decision, as he is owner of the channel. Although MDE’s original members have no say in Odell’s decisions, this doesn’t stop them from making videos, causing them to tell their side of the story.Former lead singer of the band CatchingYourClouds, Drake Christopher, told his story about how Odell manipulated him for money. This unfortunately caused Christopher to start a new band named Flatline.

Fans of MDE have caused an outbreak circling the web on Twitter and YouTube. The videos that the former MDE members made opened the eyes of the only known MDE 2.0 members (Diego Navarrette, Eugenia Cooney, Danny Edge, and Chris O’Flying). They have decided not to continue the channel, but instead make their own channel know as “Little Big Family” with Navarrette, Edge and O’Flying. Although Odell has not admitted that MDE 2.0 will cancel, rumors say that it will be canceled, at least for now. The original MDE members are currently relieved and feeling better.
