What exactly happened in 24: Legacy, season one, episode two: “1:00 pm- 2:00 pm”?
Eric Carter, portrayed by actor Corey Hawkins, was left with a cluster of things to deal with. His former army rangers unit is all dead, except for two, himself and Ben Grimes. Ben Grimes has been unstable since he returned home, according to Nicole Carter, Eric’s wife, who made the comment “you can’t just keep sending him to rehab.” Ben took a flash drive, unknowingly, from the terrorist Ibrahim Bin-Khalid’s compound the night he and his fellow Rangers killed him. That flash drive is now being looked for by Bin-Khalid’s son and other followers of Bin-Khalid. Ben has the drive, threatening to sell it to the terrorists if Carter does not give him two million dollars in cash.
Carter reaches out again to his brother, Isaac, trying to find an easier way to get the two million dollars. Isaac can’t give Eric the money, however, Isaac tells Eric the cops busted a drug deal and seized 4.6 million dollars in cash. Eric now has to get inside of the police station, steal the cash and meet with Ben.
How does Carter do this?
Carter pulls two officers into a trap, they arrested him, or try to at least before Carter takes their guns and has explosives tied to them in case they try to stop or disobey him. Carter slips in with the cops, heading directly to the evidence locker and starts to steal the cash before Andy and Rebecca tell him that their access has been shut down.
Rebecca and Andy are detained before they can help Carter escape, side note: Andy was using his tech skills to make the cameras blind to Carter’s presence.
Meanwhile, at Isaac’s place, people are conspiring against him and plotting his demise. A woman, Aisha, is heavily involved in this. She calls a male to help her take him down and she stays behind to watch Nicole.
Also, Senator Donovan’s campaign hits a snag. It’s turns out that Nilaa, his campaign manager is secretly part of the attacks being conspired by Bin-Khalid’s people… or so it seems. She was seen going to a radical mosque to pray.
