Sky in the Dark: An Original Poem

The sky in day is so blue

At night so black

Light and dark are very different

But once you look at one

You are able to see the other much clearer

But don’t get pulled into the dark

Cause that’s where the monsters live

Under the bed

In the closet

In your shadow

Try to be the light

The world is already so dark

Don’t make it an abyss
