Week 5 of Big Brother 20 kicks off with the reign of Bayleigh Dayton as the new Head of Household (HOH). Bayleigh targeted houseguest Brett Robinson for eviction, nominating him alongside fellow houseguest Rachel Swindler. Dayton plans to get Robison out this week by using Swindler as a pawn against him. Just like in Week 3, the Level Six alliance has two of its members sitting on the block for possible eviction on Thursday.

What has transpired since the nomination ceremony? Who will win the Power of Veto and will it be used to remove Brett or Rachel from the block and save them from the eviction or will the nominations be left the same?

Post- Nomination Ceremony

JC and Faysal talk and Faysal says that he helped to save JC, so a “thank you” would be nice. JC decides to talk to Bayleigh and throw Faysal under the bus in an attempt to create distrust. Bayleigh and Faysal argue and Bayleigh again acts like she is superior to everyone else because she’s HOH. Bayleigh and Rachel talk and Rachel tries to protect herself and Brett but it doesn’t go very well and Bayleigh blows up and says this is just adding more pressure and negativity to her.

Picking Players For The Veto Competition

Only six people will participate in the veto competition: the Head of Household, the two nominees and three other players selected by random draw. The Head of Household and the two nominees each pull a chip randomly to determine who will play.

Bayleigh Dayton draws Sam Bledsoe’s chip.

Rachel Swindler draws JC Mounduix’s chip.

Brett Robinson draws Tyler Crispen’s chip.

Sam, JC, and Tyler will join Bayleigh, Brett, and Rachel in the veto competition.

Veto Competition- “Goober Driver”

Players must build a puzzle road through a miniature town so they can “drive” the goober car. As they do so, roadblocks will go down and block off routes, so it a houseguests puzzle was on a path with a roadblock then they must redo that section of the puzzle. The houseguest who completes the puzzle and gets the “goober car” full of the four previously evicted houseguests (Steve Arienta, Chris Williams, Winston Hines, and Kaitlyn Herman) to the end of the puzzle in the quickest time. The puzzle can only be completed one way. Who completed the puzzle in the fastest time?

Veto Ceremony

With the veto in hand, Tyler has to decide what to do. Should he remove Rachel or Brett or leave the nominations the same?

Tyler has decided not to use the power of veto on Rachel or Brett, meaning one of those two will be evicted tomorrow night.
