Desi Perkins:

Desi is probably my personal favorite of the beauty gurus. She has a wide skill set when it comes to make-up and you never know what look she is going to do next. She has done a range of videos from “Vampy Cat Eye Makeup Look” to… “Neon/Festival Makeup Look” to… “Copper Glitter Cut Crease.” This large array not only keeps her make-up trendy and exciting, but following her tutorials could help you revamp your look or completely switch it up. Desi is also very humble about what she does and that shows through her videos making her very likable and entertaining to watch. Katy a.k.a Lustrelux:

Katy, whose make-up name is Lustrelux, has a very similar style to Desi Perkins. This is not just a coincidence, the two of them are actually very good friends and can be found filming together quite regularly. However, standing alone, in Katy’s videos she is very descriptive in what she does, making things easy to follow and she also films several reviews and hauls that can help you learn which products are hot and which ones are NOT. Chrisspy:

Chrisspy’s make-up horizons span ever farther. She has filmed several videos; some of which have a more subtle effect like her like a Smokey Eye or “Kylie Jenner Inspired Make-up.” However she also is more than capable of being able to take things to the extreme by transforming her face into Yoda or Buzz Lightyear.  Having said that, for prom the more typical tutorials would clearly be more appropriate and the way she can execute a glam look make her a great inspiration for your unique prom application. On her channel you can also find videos like “How to Apply Winged Eyeliner Like a Pro” which can help someone that doesn’t pack on the make up too often but still wants to try it out for prom. Jeffree Star:

If you are looking for DRAMA on prom night this is the artist to turn to. Jefree Star has captivated the make-up world, not only with his skills but his AMAZING line of liquid lip sticks as well. He takes make-up to the next level with a full coverage face routine and typically over the top eye looks. However once everything comes together it looks amazing. Recreating his bold style on prom night would really be a show stopper. Nikki Tutorials:

The make-up artist of the Netherlands, Nikki’s talent and large skill set in doing make-up has drawn much attention. She does in depth tutorials on full face make-up applications and very frequently has tried to recreate celebrity, movie or even character make-up on her channel. One thing she is also seen wearing numerous times is GLITTER, so if you are trying to sparkle just about as much as the disco ball on prom night, she is your go to girl.
