It’s back! The Weedsport Music Industry class had such a blast last year, they’ve decided to put on the second annual Mayfest at Auburn Public Theater. For those of you who do not remember, or did not attend last year’s festival, Mayfest is a show featuring bands and individuals from the Music Industry program, run by Mr. Franco. These talented students perform on the stages of the Auburn Public Theater for the general public from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 15th. There are 22 acts this year, including the Weedsport’s very own Have You Heard?? Other acts include, Against the Hourglass, an acoustic team of Meghan Cherry and Lauren Cuipylo, We Are Drummers, featuring John Christopher, Drake Butler and Brandon Androsko, and a solo acts including Jada Sterling and Ariel White. Tickets are just $3.00 and can be purchased online at auburnpublictheater.org or at the box office in downtown Auburn or at the door the night of the show. We hope to see you there!
