We’ve all wondered what it’s like to die. It’s a crazy, and also terrifying question that you thought wouldn’t be answered till the time actually came, but recently, a Chinese Theme Park thought you could somehow have an idea of what it was like before hand. This new bizarre theme park ride in Shenzen, China is supposed to give you a feel of what it would be like if you were actually being cremated. The name of this ride is “Samadhi: 4d death simulator,” and surprisingly, a lot of people want to try it.

Hundreds of thousands have already tried this ride, not only in China, but people travel from all over to try this ride of death out.  It starts out as a morbid escape room that uses dramatic special effects to bring players close to what would be considered a near death experience. There are winners and losers to this game and the losers get cremated.

Now the way this ride works is mostly composed of hot air and light projections. It is around 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees in Fahrenheit) and the loser(s)  are put in a coffin which goes along a conveyor belt that goes through the “human oven.” After they go through that whole process, they are transferred to a soft, round, womb- like capsule, signifying your “rebirth.”

Finally, the creator of the ride, Ding Rui, states the winner’s fate. “The winners also have to die of course.” As in life, he explains, “Everyone will die eventually, no matter what they’ve survived.”
