At the start of this semester, Weedsport offered a pair of Robotics courses for the first time. Mr. Gates and Mrs. Bower are both teaching one section of the elective course. In the course students have assembled a Lego Mindstorm robotic kit and are currently using the robots they constructed to do simple tasks like following a line that moves in multiple directions. As the course progresses, students will make their robots accomplish more sophisticated tasks.
