MAYFEST 2018

Anjela Toussant, Broadcaster

MAYFEST is an annual production put on by the Weedsport Music program and displays student talents from grades 9-12, and is a great opportunity for students and community members to enjoy their Friday night on May 18th to listen to Weedsport student talents. Admission will be $3 and will include a free key-chain while supplies last.

At Mayfest this year people can look forward to a lot of new things like food trucks such as Toss and Fire Pizza and Poppy’s ice cream along with 1 dollar iced coffees from Simple Roast. Also, other student work will be displayed like artwork from the Weedsport art program and the drone class will have a drone maze (A maze you try to get through with a drone).

Students get excited for this every year because it allows friends and family, and general concert goers to hear talented High School students, and grant them exposure. The Johnny Green asked Tati Palombo what she looks forward to most this year at Mayfest and she responded with, “I’m really excited to see how The Music Theater classes musical I found Rose turns out and to see my friends perform!”

We hope you can make it to the 5th annual MAYFEST to listen to some music from students from the Weedsport music program.
