Tsunamis: An Original Poem

Tsunamis

it’s never in between with you,
only one extreme to the other.
when you’re mad,
the walls shake & the sky turns black, & the rain starts pouring down.
when you long for something,
tsunamis hit the coasts & everything drowns.
but when you love,
the world turns soft, & everything is still,
because you have just met the only thing that could calm you.
