Syracuse Lands Top Recruit

Tim Feocco, Sports Editor

Syracuse Basketball is off to a good start in recruiting for next season. They have three players committed already for next season. They got John Bol Ajak, he is a center from Pennsylvania, he is six’ ten and is ranked a three star. Syracuse also got the number one ranked player in Rhode Island in Brycen Goodine. He is a four star and is a shooting guard. Syracuse’s most recent recruit is Joseph Girard from Glen Falls. He is also a guard and a three star. He is New York state’s all time leading scorer in New York state basketball history. He averaged around 50 points per game. He turned down offers from Boston College, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, and most notably, Duke. This sets Syracuse up to have a good future in college basketball. There are also still uncommitted players that Syracuse offered scholarships so there can be more recruits added to this list of Syracuse Commits. Some of the recruits are Isaiah Stewart who is the fifth ranked player in the country. There is also another 5 star named Precious Achiuwa from Montverde Academy. So Syracuse Basketball looks to have a very bright future and hopefully a good tournament run. How far do think Syracuse will go?
