After 6 long years of on and off touring from Metallica, James Hetfield’s recent rehab stint, 2016 Hardwired… To Self-Destruct tour. Metallica is back in the heart of Buffalo, Highmark Stadium, home of the Buffalo Bills with special guests Greta Van Fleet and Ice Nine Kills on August 11th. Tickets go on sale today at 10am. 

Metallica is one of the greatest bands in music history with a total net worth of 950 million dollars making them one of the richest bands of all time. Metallica has also sold over 125 million albums worldwide, 65 million in the US. The music makes up for the gigantic sales of wealth and albums with  albums such as “Master Of Puppets”, “Ride The Lightning”, and of course the most hit breaking album of Metallica’s history “Metallica” or the “Black Album”. 

They have been active from 1981-2022 for 41 years playing worldwide and very locally such as Weedsport in 1989 during the “…And Justice For All” tour and 1992’s “Black Album”  tour at our very own Weedsport Speedway. They will have young bucks with them; the new acclaimed future of rock music Greta Van Fleet and new wave metal group Ice Nine Kills. Hopefully they will get some more popularity and attract a new group of fans in Buffalo and rock the roof off the stadium.
