Have you been playing vainglory since I suggested the game to you? If so, are you excited about the 2.1 update that came on January 18? I know for sure that I am. Why? There’s numbers of reasons.

My favorite hero, Lance, was introduced to a new skin called Gladiator. There is really cool effect when you use the skill. The surprising thing is, it’s only an epic skin. We can only imagine how exhilarating the legendary skin could be. New changes to the map were introduced, which include a jungle monster at the center of the shop, and the Chinese new year decoration.

Another exciting new is the epic chest. They cost around $10 per chest, which reward you with a guaranteed skin and a hero. You also havethe chance to win 1 million opals. You can use opals to unlock skins. Having 1 million opals is unnecessary because you only have to spend around 1200 opals just to unlock all the special skins. You still can save them for future release of skins.

To wrap up this update, the new mode called “blitz” will be introduce to the game. There is a standard mode where you have 20-30 minutes of leveling up your hero and battling to destroy others vain crystal. There is Battle Royale, which has an 8-10 minute battle, where the lane is only available and much faster pace than the standard.

Blitz mode will be way much faster pace. It’s a 5 minute battle and the team with the most points win. You can also choose the hero you want to play with, unlike Battle Royale, it’s randomly selected for you. I’m really excited for this mode because I can do wacky buildings that will never work in a real match and having crazy damage outputs. Overall, this update is a step forward to make Vainglory enjoyable for other people.
