Hunting Season is Here: How to Bag a Deer

Hunting. There’s nothing better than waking up at 5 in the morning,sitting in below freezing weather for 7 hours straight, all while waiting for that moment when you pull the trigger and have food on your table for 6 months.If you want to learn how to do hunt, read this article.
HOW TO GET YOUR HUNTER SAFETY COURSE

First, when you are at the age of 12 to whenever you want to hunt, get your hunting safety course done. You go to your local gun club or wherever they are having it, and then you take a 8 hour course with mandatory shooting time. After that, you are legal to hunt small game until you’re 14, then you can hunt deer.

How to get hunting permits

First, you go to your local town office or sporting goods store, then you ask for doe and/or buck permits. They will give you a few doe, and one buck, tag once you give them your hunting safety course card, which acts as a hunting license. Now you’re legally ready to hunt.

TIPS FOR HUNTING

  • Wear orange for safety reasons
  • Stay very quiet so the deer don’t hear you
  • Stay uprange of your deer, they will smell you if the wind is blowing that way
  • Have at least one deer call in your bag
  • Dress extremely warm
